Well, thought I had my PC fixed last night, and as it was it went from bad to worse!
I've got what I believe is a power supply failure on the desktop. But, never fear!! Replacement is en route! I'm picking up another tonight, and hope to have installed in time for tonight's shenanigans!
Keep you fingers crossed! Because if it ain't the PSU, it's going to be the MB or processor. Worse comes to worse, I'll play on this laptop...

Lets hope that it is the PSU and you get it fixed soon.

After a big migraine, replacing the PSU, swapping video cards, putting in new memory, and doing a lot of swearing...
I've got the bloody thing running again!
Problem wasn't the PSU, but got a better one. Found out issue was with memory. Never seen a set go bad like that. Stable to zapped. Hrmph.

Memory problems are indeed rare, unless you are overclocking it. Still, every component fries every now and then, but I've never seen memory fry. I've bought not working memory but that's another story ...
